Our consulting panel includes an experienced PR Manager, an accomplished vocal coach, a composer/musician with 20 years experience. We'll spend a lot of time listening to and appraising
your music. Please bear in mind that we will need to say 'no' to a large number of applicants if this project is to live up to its name and build a credible reputation worthy of the people we say 'yes' to...otherwise the whole project will become worthless. We have promised the public an exceptional roster. This means we cannot accept 'quite good' or 'nearly ready' music for this site. There are millions of 'unsigned' sites for you to try out your music, get fans and and have fun, but this may not be for you so it may be better not to apply. If unsure, wsrite us a quick email describign what you do and we'll let you know if it is likely to be considered.

On the other hand, you may think it's easily worth applying just to get some honest professional feedback. At least a dedicated team will be listening to your music and paying you some well deserved attention. So many record labels and agencies do not listen to or acknowledge music sent in to them. Also bear in mind that though passionate and committed, I'm sure we're as deeply flawed as the rest of humanity (Simon Cowel included!) so you can feel free to disagree with every word we say and don't let us dishearten you. You're competing with original artists from around the globe for limited spaces and attention here. We're actually a bunch of softies and if we could, we'd have you all on here. But... as it is, we're just madly excited to have the chance to get some of you noticed and possibly really make a difference. Plus, every person who applies is helping us to help someone else, which makes it cool.

Every applicant will receive a carefully considered written appraisal which we hope will be helpful for your future development. You never know... even if you're not featured, this may be a life-changing point where you get some information or advice that others may not have been prepared to or able to tell you. A few temporarily bruising home truths at an early stage can be the spur that brings out greatness in an aspiring artist. Either way I'm sure your appraisal would not be all bad news. You might get some quotable words of praise from us which you can use on your web site with pride, as we don't say anything we don't mean. Remember, previous rejected applicants may present new music to us at any time in the future free of charge. This gives you the chance to go away and address any issues we may have had with your first presentation. I'm sure we'll end up keeping in contact with some of you as friends anyway, judging by some of the amazingly positive and supportive emails we've had through so far.

It's a new site. There are no guarantees in this business. But we have a feeling that just to be featured here at 'Best Music on the Planet' would set you apart from millions  of acts just by virtue of the fact you've been through such a rigorous filtering system and won through. And definately the artists who get throguh have something to be very proud of indeed. 

That aside, our team will be working behind the scenes to get radio and press coverage and anything else they can find (gigs etc if appropriate) for our selected artists. We have a talented in-house artist to create personalised artwork and a talented copywriter for your press releases.

We want to break some deserving artists here, or at least draw a whole lot of attention to them so they will be offered more opportunities. We're going to pull out all the stops to find the most special of you out there who really, really have something to say and something new to offer.  Believe me, we KNOW what it feels like to not be acknowledged.

Terms and conditions
All music sent for consideration must be your own original work. There are no exceptions so please do not send us cover versions that have not been cleared. You must have full ownership of rights and copyright, without exception. If under 16 years old you must be represented by a parent or guardian (please email for details/seperate application form). All photos must be recent. We reserve the right to select artists at our own discretion as described above. The panel's decisions will be final. 

Application fee information
At the moment we need to charge a one off payment of 10 pounds per artist for the obvious administration costs of listening to every piece of music and replying at length to every applicant. We are hoping to abolish this fee as soon as we can as we hope to build a successful site with backers, but for the immediate future we cannot survive to run this project without a contribution from participants. We are talented but we're not millionaires, and we won't be filling these pages with crass money-making adverts... so we have to self-finance setup and upkeep of the site, and time spent on appraisals and PR efforts. I'm sure most of you who are serious will appreciate it's worth the investment in yourself, if only to hear what we have to say to you That said, if you believe you might be what we're looking for but have no funds please email us immediately to be entered through without payment - it won't be a problem. Payments can be made easily by hitting the 'Pay now' button below...
